If this subject is to come up in conversation, this is the white person’s preferred statement:
“I’m not afraid to admit that I believe that intelligent comedy peaked in the 1970s. Go ahead, tell me a smart, funny movie that you enjoy and I can show you directly how it has ripped off Annie Hall. Seriously, test me.”
